Bowling, Bowling, Bowling, Bowling, BOWLING!

We've started the bowling love off early in our family. My grandpa was an avid bowler and he won a lot of trophies back in the day. I think he would be proud that I've shared that love with my rug rats. I wish he could be here to bowl a game with his great grandchildren but I'm sure he's looking down and smiling at them.

We decided to take the kids on a special surprise outing yesterday. The bowling alley was anything but crowded...I think we were the only ones there under 70. Dylan was so excited when we got there that he was jumping up and down. Maddie quickly followed suit...Gavin, on the other hand, took a nap in the Ergo. I guess bowling to a 3 month old is not very exciting.

Everytime Maddie bowled, whether she knocked a pin down or not, she would jump up and down and say, "I did it!" Dylan ended up with 2 spares...not bad considering he didn't use the ramp at all. It was a fun family morning...I love days like that!
